Journey to Recovery Image

My Second Finding...

Now I’m getting my health back – time to get my body back – I’m in the beginning of weight loss journey, which would take another year to figure out – there are a few different findings along the way in this journey. You may end up needing all of them like me, or you may end up discovering yours sooner. Either way, I hope you learn something from my journey and that it makes your journey easier.

Never having really struggled with my weight previously, and now being 1 ½ times my usual size, this was new to me and added some insecurities and brought some issues to the surface to deal with as well.

I am however very grateful for this health journey I have been on. It has taught me many things and given me a much better understanding of other people’s struggles.

So, the next thing I found out about me was my hormones were completely out of whack!

I figured this out and started to research it when my teenage daughter started getting acne. It made me look in the mirror, so to speak, and I thought her hormones are changing because of her age, maybe mine are starting to…

So, onto the internet I went as Google is one of my best friends and away we went…

I find different information, contradictory information and then I stumbled upon this webinar and onto their website.

The information I found made sense, so much sense and it nailed me to a tee.

The information below is taken from something I discovered and here is the website: https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/hb5cb?hop=healwomen

I’m going to put what I learned in a nutshell, but I recommend you going to his website and looking into the information further. I am copying and pasting from his information for the most part to put it in his words. I will however add some information throughout to add my point of view or experiences.

At a certain age, which is different for every woman, we have 5 Hormonal Blocks that create problems in our life if left and could possibly account for my weight gain and lack of being able to lose weight as Weight loss resistance often comes down to 5 hormonal blocks.

These blocks consist of:

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/one.png Your thyroid hormones (T3 and T4)

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/two.png Your cortisol hormone

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/three.png Your estrogen hormone

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/four.png Your insulin hormone

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/five.png Your leptin hormone

Addressing any one of these blocks that you suffer from can be helpful…

But unless you target all of them together, at the same time…

Then you may never feel 100%...

5 Hormonal Blocks…

He realized that while there are ton of products out there that target these blocks individually…

Nothing seemed to target all five of these blocks together, simultaneously.

That was a big problem…

Because fixing one of these blocks…

Like your thyroid hormones…

Is a great start…

But if the other four hormonal blocks remain unaddressed…

You’re still going to struggle to lose weight and feel 100%.

It’s a lot like pouring water into a bucket that has five holes at the bottom…

If you plug one of the holes, the water will drain a little bit slower…

But it’s still going to all pour out.

If you plug three of the holes, the water will drain slower still…

But before long, the bucket will be empty again.

If you want the bucket to remain full…

You’ve got to plug all five of the holes at once.

Well it’s the same thing here…

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/pic15.jpg

Fixing one, or even three of your hormonal blocks…

It can slow things down a little bit…

But if you really want to fix things…

So you’re filled with energy…

And experience thriving, fat-burning metabolism…

You’ve got to attack all five of these blocks at once.

And because there wasn’t any solution out there that addressed all 5 of these hormonal blocks…

Dr. Wood realized he’d need to make one himself…he hit the lab!

Now what symptoms does each one of these hormones cause if they are out of whack?

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/one.png  Your thyroid hormones (T3 and T4)

word image 3

You’ve probably heard of your thyroid before…It’s a small, tiny gland located in the front of your neck…

And your thyroid’s role is to take iodine, which is found in a variety of foods…

And convert it into two thyroid hormones…which are known as T3 and T4.

These thyroid hormones are then released into the bloodstream…

Where they control your metabolism.

When your metabolism is functioning normally…it turns calories and fat into energy…

Then sends this energy to your cells…where it’s used to perform all kinds of essential functions that keep you healthy.

word image 4

But when your thyroid hormones are NOT functioning properly…it means that your metabolism doesn’t function properly either…

And instead of burning calories like it should…your metabolism stores those calories as fat.

This is why, if you have issues with your thyroid hormones…

You can starve yourself and workout all day…

But you’re STILL going to encounter weight loss resistance and feel frustrated…

Because even though you’re doing activities that normally WOULD burn calories…

When your thyroid hormones are out of whack…they tell your metabolism to keep storing those calories as fat.

This can leave you feeling exhausted, by the way…because over the course of the day…

You’re doing all of these things that require energy…yet your body isn’t releasing that energy…

It’s holding onto it…and if you frequently suffer from brain fog…

Your thyroid hormones could be to blame for that as well…because your brain uses up a lot of energy…

But if your metabolism is broken and there’s no energy available…your brain is starved of fuel.

Pretty crazy, right?

And your thyroid is just one of FIVE different hormonal blocks you may be facing…

Imagine what it would be like to fix all 5 hormonal blocks at once?

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/two.png Your cortisol hormone

You have two adrenal glands that sit above your kidneys…and they produce a hormone called cortisol

Which is often referred to as a “stress hormone”…because it’s released when you experience stress.

Cortisol is very important to your survival…but when your cortisol levels are always high…

Which can happen due to everyday stressors like:

  • A demanding job
  • Arguments on social media
  • A rocky relationship
  • Sitting in bad traffic
  • A challenging child
  • Plus, anything else

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img39.png

Your brain thinks you’re in survival mode…so it shuts down your metabolism…

Your digestion…and even parts of your brain.

Why does it do this?

Because even though your stress might be due to something “harmless”…

Like your boss nonstop texting on a weekend…your brain can’t differentiate between “harmless” stress…and a real threat…

So it takes energy from anywhere in the body that it views as “non-essential”…which includes your metabolism, your digestive system, and even parts of your brain…and sends this energy to places like your muscles and your heart…which your brain considers essential to your survival.

Think of it like this:

  • If you need to fight, your muscles better work…
  • And if you need to run for your life, your heart better be able to pump blood…

But you know what’s NOT essential to fighting or running away?

  • Your metabolism raging and burning fat…
  • Your digestion operating smoothly so you don’t experience irregular bowel movements…
  • Or your brain being able to solve math equations or complex problems.

So the fact that those places get robbed of energy makes sense…

In fact, it’s actually smart of your brain to do this.

The problem though…is that if your stress isn’t coming from a real threat…

But from your 24/7 job…

Or family commitments…

Then your metabolism, digestion, and brain always remain robbed of energy…

It’s impossible to burn fat…and you constantly feel like your brain is in a fog.

Pretty crazy, right?

And we’ve still got three more hormonal blocks left…

So let’s keep things going.

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/three.png Your estrogen hormone

Estrogen is what’s referred to as a “sex hormone”…and when estrogen levels are too high, or too low…

And aren't in balance with progesterone...which is another important female reproductive hormone….

It can very easily lead to weight loss resistance.

One of the tell-tale signs of erratic estrogen levels…is that you’ll notice more fat getting stored in your belly and hips…

And you’ll notice that this fat is visceral and clingy…to the point where it feels like it’s impossible to get rid of it…

No matter how much dieting or exercising you do.

For many women…erratic estrogen problems start in their mid-thirties…

Then continue before, during, and after menopause.

The reason why…is because as a woman exits her prime reproductive years…

Which normally happens between the ages of 30 and 35…the balance between estrogen and progesterone can grow increasingly out of whack…

And her estrogen levels will start to peak…while her progesterone levels begin to free-fall.

And as women enter their 40s…this imbalance between estrogen and progesterone only becomes worse..

Which can negatively affect your thyroid hormones …and lead to you putting on more and more pounds of fat.

It’s for this reason that so many women are being pushed towards hormone therapies once they enter their 40s and 50s…

But wouldn’t it be better if you could just keep estrogen levels balanced naturally…

Without continuously packing on more pounds of fresh belly fat?

Well the good news…is that this is absolutely possible.

I’ll show you exactly how to do it…plus give you four more proven hormonal fixes…

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/four.png Your insulin hormone

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/pic12.jpg

Insulin is a hormone that’s produced in your pancreas…and you’ve almost certainly heard of insulin before…

Especially in relation to diabetes.

The thing is though…you don’t need to be a diabetic to have insulin challenges…

Because as world renowned health expert Dr. Mark Hyman puts it:

No contest: The monster hormone that causes weight gain is excess insulin.”

Well with respect to Dr. Hyman…there is a contest…

And it’s happening between all five of the hormones we’re talking about today.

But while Dr. Hyman may be oversimplifying things a little bit here…there’s also a lot of truth to what he’s saying...

Because high insulin levels definitely are one of the major reasons behind your weight loss resistance.

Insulin helps your body convert the carbohydrates you eat into sugar (glucose)…and then tells your body to store this sugar as glycogen in your muscles.

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/pic4.png

The problem though is that your muscles can only store a small amount of glycogen at any given time…

And once your muscles’ about to store glycogen is maxed it…your body has no choice but to store additional glycogen as fat.

Obviously, that’s not good if you’re trying to lose weight…and it’s especially brutal when you combine high insulin…with the other hormonal blocks we’ve looked at so far.

Think about it…

  • Insulin and estrogen are BOTH telling your body to store more fat…
  • While your thyroid hormones and cortisol are BOTH telling your body not to burn fat.

So is it any wonder that you’ve been struggling to lose weight?

And all of this is before we add in the last hormonal block too…

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/five.png Your leptin hormone

word image 5

Leptin’s job is to tell your brain when you’ve had enough to eat.

This is why Leptin is often referred to as your “fullness hormone”…because when Leptin is functioning normally…

You feel satisfied after each meal…you don’t overeat…and you don’t suffer from those gnawing cravings that can strike out of nowhere.

That’s how Leptin is supposed to function…

But when you start putting on excess weight…and you can’t burn fat no matter how hard you try…

(Which both happen due to the other four hormonal blocks we’ve covered today)…

Your fat cells start producing more-and-more leptin…and your brain becomes bombarded with leptin signals non-stop…until it starts to ignore these signals entirely.

This is called leptin-resistance…and as your brain becomes increasingly resistant to leptin…

You can guess what happens:

  • You stop feeling full…
  • You start overeating the wrong foods…
  • You get almost addict-like-cravings for salty, sweet, or crispy junk foods…

And it results in you putting on even MORE weight…

Which in turn makes your leptin resistance even worse…

Until ultimately…you spend very day feeling hungry, angry, and depressed…

Because it seems like you can’t stop overeating no matter how hard you try…

And you feel MAD at yourself…because you can’t understand why don’t have any self-control.

You’ve been BLAMED for your weight loss resistance by the folks in the diet industry…

You’ve been NAMED as lazy by workout-addicts in the fitness industry…

And you’ve been SHAMED for your anxiety and exhaustion by pill-pushing health professionals…

When the truth is…

The vast majority of the time…

  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img28.png Your inability to lose weight…
  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img29.png Your low-energy…
  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img30.png Your poor nights of sleep…
  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img31.png Your brain fog…
  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img32.png Your mood swings…
  • https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/img33.png And so much else...

What you need to change things:

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/count1.png

For Thyroid Hormones: Iodine
Kelp, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese

Plus, Dr. Wood also recommends adding in B12 and Bladderwrack (another type of iodine-rich seaweed) too…

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/count2.png

For Cortisol

Rhodiola Rosea Extrat and Red Ginseng

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/count3.png

For Estrogen

DIM (Diindolylmethane)

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/count4.png

For Insulin

Cinnamon

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/count5.png

For Leptin

African Mango

And now that you know all of this…

Now you can do this on your own but how do you know if you are getting the correct amount of each and really buying each one separately is going to cost enough anyway.

My recommendation, have a look at the product that Dr. Wood has created and try it for a time period.

https://digi.hormonalbalancenow.com/sales-landers/images/pic18.png

HB5 stands for “Hormonal Balance 5”…

Because this breakthrough is designed to support the balance of 5 crucial hormones in your body…

Thyroid Hormones, Cortisol, Estrogen, Insulin, and Leptin.

To me, it is reasonably priced and comes out of the United States.

And scroll down to the bottom of the page to order. These prices were taken off the above site on Nov 13,2021, so depending on when you are reading this, the price may differ.

I ordered my first 6-month supply as I realized that it took a significant amount of time to get me to where I was at, it was going to take time to get me back on track. I anticipated starting to see results around the 3rd or 4th month and I did. But I was hoping to see more results, obviously this was not the only stumbling block in my weight loss journey... I needed to research further.

I don’t like to combine too many things at once, as I like to know which one actually solved the root cause of the problem. So for the first 4 months, this was the only thing I added to my life.

Check out what I tried next by adding it into my life in my third finding as I have always believed weight gain or loss is about 60% food intake, 20% exercise and now about 20% hormones.
